Watch or record Smashcast (formerly Hitbox) streams with VLC Player and Livestreamer
You doesn't want watch Smashcast streams in browser, cause lagging or Flash Troubles? Then you can use the VLC Mediaplayer for that.
Download X-StreamLoader GUI for Livestreamer/Streamlink and you can watch or record Smashcast streams with only some whole clicks
Since Version 1.5.8 it's possible to record streams with Online Check, so recording starts automatically when Stream goes online.
Add your favorite Streamer from Smashcast to the favorite list, and you can select it easy in the quickmenu.
You also can add your favorite game from Smashcast Game Directory to the Game favorite list, so you can open it in your browser with only a doubleclick.
If you got the Error 'No streams found on this URL' although the Stream is already broadcasting may you should update smashcast.py Plugin.
